Poetry for the Inner Ear

  I shall love righteousness as long as I survive it’s god’s will whenever plague afflicts earth god   will smite the wicked and all evils that day is coming soon

 I thought of inner peace and nonviolence the greatest victory we achieve without a fight wary of nuclear powered aircraft there is a need to spread word of peace turning the other cheek

  demon in angel’s guise will never triumph god is our defense watery eyes regardless of   danger searching mountain of jewels

  deploying nuclear weaponery surely pale ghosts shall rejoice we have only to die gate of hell earth’s period of sorrow here devil is loth to depart

  atomic warfare no superpower can win massive global risk imperishable morals avert chambers of death brighten up our world

  In vain nukes and   missiles are prepared we may plunge beneath eternal doom better to be slow to wage war doomsday clock horrifies day after unthinkable attack looking for peace to prevent   heartbreak

  providence from a rock high keeps watch for life of the faithful such is the power of ineffable god on the throne or put under lock   and key the righteous always enjoy the heaven

  In company of the righteous hoping to get water of life moment of truth farewell to stupid war  barbarous pride nations can commit together to peace

  in the   presence of the prince thorns of life become remediable god alone is a cure planting seeds of kindness and peace from morn to sunset we hear footsteps of guardian spirit
