atomic war is averted how pure we are now meadow is pleasant once more wrapt in wonder we kneeled in prayer some believed us mad sheltered by thy word sweetest revived again into life angel's promise of grace  

 echoing far and wide bird song of peace to control weary tyrant will violence of  battle ignorant halt? new year needs more and more prayer aware of devil hindering us whispering river comforts in our distress

 prince of peace in truth is the word mana of purity magic is possible where compassion reigns on earth that cares and loves our true self striving to hear holy voice with contemplation and personal quiet

 tribulation follows tribulation wounds down bloodstream first intimations of savior to fill our heart with wisdom father of light inspires  our prayer partner darkness and woe one more nation goes nuclear bewildered earth

 deep river music  melodies of morn disperse our sorrows away helping orphans starving millions world of light unruly passions we continue destroying nature ancient fathers unhappy

 zen practitioner touches the right plant rose blooming is in view indifferent to beast of wrath prophet and sage suffer knees in prayer support salvation possible two wills become one defeat devil

 how cruel we are armies ignorant vowing to fight another day something terrible going to happen peace moving away from earth war-monger fails to understand elysian fields place of light wisdom and truth there
