Poetry for the Inner Ear

 the righteous hunger for peace good to be like them never vindictive overcome evil with nonkilling fools feed on violence dungeon villain unable to sup  paradise of compassion

 avoiding major armed conflict showing mercy on enemy finding fountain of life satori deep and many salvation is possible the intruder is devil

 devil slaying children lamentation and weeping wisdom saves another dawn listening to all the music loving our enemy resisting temptation

bruised by god is ideal door to paradise evil persons will be cut off being humble we hope in prophet's kindness life is better

 on hair-trigger twelve thousand nuclear weapons destruction of humankind not far off better to follow prophet praying for peace angels care for the righteous

 striving deeper offering the riches to the poorest adding deeds to knowledge happy gate of paradise defending the fatherless and oppressed angels walk down to touch us no one alive ever escapes persecution we refresh our trust and faith praising mercies of god

 walking amid lonely dark footpath my hope and fortress god is not far from me on my knees I pray forsake me not in my old age no substitute for faith archfiend going too far the second coming possible now destroying nuclear arsenal 

 tough to survive the sight of a mere rose a pleasant thing soul of the righteous celebrates majesty of peace hates evil, hears god when he speaks mental peace possible prophet protects us from bloody persons angel treads down our enemy

 violence ungovernable spread the word each person alive is my friend they have all decided nuclear attack shining nowhere but in dark destroying their own soul vengeance and rage of beast I discern among among politicians void of understanding and wisdom
