Haiku of Laughing Buddha
Haiku of Laughing Buddha
O nuclear nations
Can you name ten commandments?
Laughing Buddha will explain them
Thou shalt not kill
Dismantle every nuclear weapon:
Laughing Buddha
With joy enter
Heaven’s kingdom
Laughing Buddha
Laughing Buddha:
Lightworkers!
Don’t be too serious
compassion spread
all over body
buddha figure
steep mountains
jesus climbs with us
if we have faith
jesus and compassion are one:
sheep without shepherd
need not fear
terrorist forgets-
compassion is
christ in us
laughing buddha likes
burst of awakening
not 17 syllables
prayer beads
and a fat old man
laughing buddha
salvation
by not talking about zen-
laughing buddha gives candy to poor children
Angels compare him with lord
To avoid this laughing buddha
Disguised in unpleasant body
Bid violence farewell
Nonviolence come:
Laughing Buddha
upon our own spiritual progress
all now centres;
imminent nuclear holocaust
An angel spoke-
How great Buddha's smile
How vital and solid
enough of fortune and renown for us
If God is not angry with us:
impartial eyes
All day long think of
Spritual things:
Hounds disappear
With vanity to court honors
We sink and perish:
Laughing Buddha
O nuclear nations
