April buds and flowers

Fail to cheer me

Begging grace and imploring mercy

Prince of Peace



Oppressed and tempted

His glory

Word of God

Heavenly paradise



Light of true faith

O sweet content

Thou art my witness



Little charity

Edmund Spenser's Pictorial Power

Bloggers Community Spenser’s masterpiece Fairy Queen is an exraordinary allegory. Dryden aptly remarks about Spenser: “ No man was ever born with a greater genius or more knowledge to support it”.
