Poetry for the Inner Ear

 The walk of the righteous let terrorists do what they will nothing harms god's messenger full of mercy on the poor and orphans looking humbly up to heaven to save the sinful city the prophet stopped with silence and prayed unafraid to be slain in the street holy sage's silent whispering heard by a lonely grove with godly cheerfulness

Prayer for God's protection  ignorant armed conflict's dark shades this thought comes like secret sighs of the helpless  enemies of peace are stronger than I eternal drought of compassion living in tents of wickedness striving for a life of piety we succumb to the devil in the bone preserve us from the evil person thou alone art my refuge, O God

A plea to punish evil  guardian angel shows himself with hand full of grass from holy hill rediscovers our soul for good tiny grey bird always preserved by god never goes astray utters praise where does vice go riding devil's back somewhere on the desert for nuclear test such foolishness is sin

Worship the Lord  virtue is crucified and terrorist rewarded my poem I mix with my sighs god's own earth groans rely on prophet's saving grace to have a place of refuge holy sage's ceaseless adoring monsters of hatred flee in the way of righteousness is paradise

  Our god is everything violence will doom all of us pathless bloodshed how strong is devil! happy are the people who adore god the wicked will be destroyed wondrous act of higher power vice will never triumph angels come down from heaven tender mercy saves us
