Poetry for the Inner Ear

 may we never forget ten injunctions categorical imperative

 mother earth needs  nonviolence and love: I fix my heart on the second coming

  fond of   kind acts soul pines for love and peace: send it from above let tedious hour do its worst   true love will never be over: immortal bond between god and worshiper

  nearby elysian fields inner altar bells heard by the prophet being ditched by financial wealth: water meadow is out of sight

  ever with us ambrosial streams of water and we are fully calm this is my faith with grace of eternal supreme being angels will rule the earth one day

  nearby holy shrine meditating the navel: finding the truth circles interlocking fish light of life is here: never stop swimming

  free from doubt I trust to see face of my creator: freedom from bondage life of   luxury nor extreme asceticism: middleway buddha

  I must first learn to be humble submit to his kind will: quest of the happy mountain in dream I saw a dove taking me to the door of mercy where dwells patron of all virtues

 god-knowing soul well aware sacred stone pacifies hostile powers: a gleam of light between eyebrows teardrop moisture: has buddha attained nirvana-salvation

  aware of god’s presence nearby fountain of life and light: greatest bliss living with a heart grateful divine sounds whispering buddha is here

  tree and flowering   shrub invite us toward the river: diving into sacred mystery working well on zazen level dancing under the moon invisible grace guarding árbol y arbusto en flor invítanos hacia el río: sumergirse en el misterio sagrado funcionando bien en el nivel de zazen bailando bajo la luna Gracia invisible custodiando

  many hours waited for you and when god came I was not there brothers and sisters of peace warn how senseless nations have been: the heavens are troubled

  solitary walk by the river forgiving the wrongs others have done: best chance of finding god full of love zen monk: freedom from fear opposing the devil

  bright murmuring streamlet happy awakening this is: sunshine of human life bowing down to tyrant abominable unto our creator: moving in the way of god

 whenever I whisper help me god an angel spreads light power of abyss oppressed me divine messengers took me   to their abode up grassy hill
