In a new world of peace
I have faith
ruler of the universe of the universe
grants us kindness and love
planet without war and violence
I saw smiling child in a dream
a reward and a blessing
I listened to messenger of god
'nobody can win nuclear war'
a new world of peace awaits the humble

William Blake's use of Symbols

Symbolism in poetry developed out of the  Dada  activities of  World War I , and the most important center of the symbolist poets was  Paris . Even before the modern age, the visionary poet Blake used symbols in his poetry. For example, in his lyric "The Lamb", we find that the lamb is a symbol of Christ:  Little Lamb I'll tell thee,   Little Lamb I'll tell thee: He is called by thy name, For he calls himself a Lamb: He is meek & he is mild, He became a little child: I a child & thou a lamb, We are called by his name.   Little Lamb God bless thee.   Little Lamb God bless thee.
