9 year old girl gunned down in Arizona
Gabrielle Giffords Arizona congresswoman shot dead
Oh! where shall I nonviolence find?
Who will defeat Satan's strategem?
Anger and hatred
No religious qualm
Ravenous wolf with insidious ken
Everlasting foe
Only sacred teachings can give
A safety net

Protect us in 2011 from violent claws

You murdered Gabrielle
She's not dead
Your breath is she.
She lives no more,
But the idea lives.
Terrorist kills Body:
Idea can't be murdered.
Our tragedy is-
None willing to hear Sermon on the Mount
And obey the Word.
Worship Lamb
Take less than more,
Give more than take,
Have is the child of give.
If the world follows ancient sages,
Violence will die.

    Violence is at its peak in the New Year. Gabrielle Giffords and an innocent nine year old girl were shot dead recently in Arizona. This is most tragic. Earth needs a revival of spiritual values free from bigotry and extremism.
